The nickname of officer Judy “J.J.” Tingreedes (Eileen Davidson) a gorgeous blonde undercover detective (on psychological disability) working for the Bay City police on the police drama BROKEN BADGES/NBC/1990-91.

Bullet rode a Harley motorcycle, and had a tough-as-nails personality (“I’m a street bitch with an attitude”). She liked “kicking butt” and hated people who stared at her breasts. She punched out anyone who looked at them.

Note:  A German shepherd dog known as “Bullet” appeared on the western adventure THE ROY ROGERS SHOW/NBC/1951-57/CBS/1961-64.

Bullet was often seen running along side of Roy’s horse, Trigger. Both of their mounted remains are on display at the Roy Rogers/Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Missouri (formerly in Victorville, California).

Billed as a “Wonder Dog,” Bullet made his debut in the Roy Roger’s film Spoiler’s of the Plains (1951) produced by Republic Pictures.


Born in Philadelphia, Jerome Alphonse Holst worked 30 years as a librarian. He has since retired and lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Holst is also the author of the children’s books “Norman the Troll,” "Norman the Troll and the Haunted House," and "Gretchen and the Gremlins." In addition, he penned the fantasy novel “The Adventures of Glinda Gale,” a retelling of “The Wizard of Oz" and the reference text “The Encyclopedia of Movie and TV Insults.” .
